When a product is labelled as FSC Certified, it means the wood used in the product, and the manufacturer who made it, met the requirements of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) FSC has a global forest certification system to provide a guarantee that forest products come from responsibly managed sources.
The Sustainable Forestry Imitative is a North American forest certification standard program of SFI Inc., a non-profit organisation.
